Hello,my name is Hania. I was borned in Pakistan. I lived with my family. I have two sisters and two brothers. We all lived together but, my father lived in U.S.A. Our house was big. It was made of bricks. We had five rooms. We lived in small village of Gujrat. My village was very big. My village had a lot of shops. In my village, all homes were closed to other homes. Every night, when I went to sleep I hear the sound of dogs. They barked. I felt very deserted. In my country, light was always gone.                                                    

In summer, we slept in hall. The moonlight looked so good. At home, some times I helped my mom in chores. In Pakistan, the summer was really hot and electricity was always gone. In the day, when the light was gone we all sit under the tree. The cool breeze was blowing. We tell the stories to each other. It was really fun. In every night of winter, we ate oranges and peanut. My cousins and we all sit together in a room. We played games. It was so fun.

We also went to school. My school was very big. I wake up in the morning at 6’o clock. I get ready for school and then I go to school on bus.  I opened the window of the bus and  cool breeze was blowing. I  felt very good and I slept in the bus. Our school was so far. Its takes one hour to go to school. I don’t liked to go school. That’s why I was always scared to go school. In my school, teachers were very strict. If we do not complete our work and do something wrong they pulled our ears and sometimes they took a stick and beat us. They give us a lot of work. It was very hard. When our teacher was on leave, we were so happy. We did nothing in classroom. After school, I go home. I changed my uniform and then, I ate lunch. After that, I went to my cousin house for played games like badminton and jumping rope. After an hour, I came back home and do my homework. I never liked to do home work but I had to do it.

After some years, we moved to another city. Our teacher came at our home and teach us. I don’t liked him because, he was very strict. I was always afraid of him. One day, I didn’t do my work. He became very angry and he slapped me. I started to cry and I went to my room. I put my clothes in my school bag. I wrote a letter and gave it to my older sister. She read it. In this letter, I wrote that I will leave my house tomorrow and I will go to my friend’s house. My sister thinks that I am just joking with her. Next day, I went to school and from school I went to my friend’s house but my sister was still waiting for me in school, but I left her. Finally, she went to home and when she reached home she told to mom that I went to my friend’s house.They all were very worried about me.Then my uncle and my grandmother went to my friend’s house and took me.They scold me and said, never do this again.

At home, I watch TV a lot. I watch three or four hours of TV. My mom always says “If you work hard your future will be better” but I didn’t listened her. I just say “OK” and then after some time we forgot. I played with my cousins and friends. We played with dolls and we did doll weddings. We enjoyed a lot with playing dolls.

I belong to a religious family. My religion is really different than other religions. My religion is Islam. Islam is a monotheistic religion. We pray five time in a day. My parents says that, “never forgot your religion.” When my mom got married with my dad. My mom never saw my dad before they got married. My mom’s mother just showed her a picture of my father and after some days, my mom got married with my dad. My mom and my dad didn’t knew each other before they got married.

My uncle and my dad lived in U.S.A. My dad wanted that we came to U.S. They applied our visas. They told my mom that we should come to U.S and then my mom told us that we should go to U.S. When we hear that we are moving to U.S.A, we were so happy. We told our friends and cousins that “ we are moving to U.S.A.soon.”My dad told us that we have to go to embassy. It was my first time. I was so excited. They called our names. We went to a small room. They asked us our names and DOB and they told us that we have to came next week for interview. After one week, we went to embassy. They called us. They were just asking questions to my mom. After that, we were going back they call us that we had to wait for an hour because we had to take shorts. I was always scared to take shorts. Doctor called our names and then he injected us. It was really painful. After that, we came to our home. Unfortunately, on that day I had a exam. I didn’t go to school. Next day, when I go to school, everyone started looking at me. My friends asked me, “why you was absent.” I was just there my teacher came. She started yelled at me that I miss an exam for U.S. I felt very bad.

After six or seven months, they call us and told that you can take your visas. When we hear that we were so happy. My mom get ready for gone. They just gave us one week to came to U.S. It was very short time and I didn’t met with my some friends because of vacations. In the evening, we get ready for gone. We met with our cousins and to the others. We said, goodbye to all.  After that we sit in car and we went to the  airport on 10 pm. My uncle and my aunt were with us. The airport was to far. Its take four or five hours to go. Along the way, we stayed in a hotel for some food.  After some time, we went again. After some hours, we reached at airport. We came out from the car. I came first time on airport. I was so excited.  We go in to airport and we met with our uncle and aunt then we say goodbye to them.

After that, we go into the airport. We sit in a big hall. After an hour, we go into airplane. It was my first time in airplane. I was so happy. We sit in airplane. After five or ten min, slowly slowly our plane started flying. When it started flying. It had very loud sound. I took down my face but after sometime when I took my face over airplane was flayed. I see all the city in the airplane. I was very happy.

Our journey was so long. It take one or two day to came U.S.A. After one day, our plane land in U.S. I was very happy because we reached U.S. We came into airport. They checked us. After an hour, we came out in airport. When we came out into airport we see our cousins. They were waiting for us. We met with them then, we sit in a car and we went for home. After some time, we reached at our cousin’s home. We met with our other cousins and uncle and then we ate some food. We were so tired so we went to sleep.

In the beginning, I felt very sad in U.S but after some months, I felt better. We lived almost one month in our cousin’s home because my dad didn’t found any house for us. After some months, my dad found a house and we came to our home. Some weeks later, I started to came to school. On the first day, I was very sad when I go back to the home I started weeping. My mom asked me, “what happened” I said, “I don’t want to go school.” I was always scared to came to school and on that time, I don’t had friends in my school and I don’t spoke english but, I will try my best.
