My name is Messi. I come from Haiti. I have fourteen. I was
born in Port-au-Prince on December 2000. In Haiti, I lived with my mother since
childhood until she moves to the United States. After his trip, I went to live
with my aunt who lived not far from the house. I loved my life in Haiti. In
Haiti, I was in a school with a great reputation, St. Aloysius Gonzaga. I loved
school, although teachers were not cool with students. After school, I went to
play with my classmates on the school yard. After playing a few school
basketball, I went home on foot. Last month in December, my father told me that
we will go to the United States, I was very happy. Earlier this year, we took
the plane to come to the United States. When I come, it was very cold I
remember Haiti, my friends, my aunts, my father, in Haiti. I was afraid of the
height of buildings due to the earthquake that took place on 12 January 2010.
After a few weeks I felt more comfortable on the country. After three weeks, I
went to school. The name of my school is international Lafayette High School is
a great school. The first day I came, I felt strange to school. I did not
understand anything that the teachers were saying. Now I better understand the
same course if I do not speak English yet. When I arrived, I met xiaojun and
chester and that made me a little help in the classroom. Now I want to speak
English because I do not want to stay without understanding what people say,
especially in the current. I would like to work as all other students.
