Hi my name is Ronaldo. I’m 15 years old, I came to New York 1 year, 7 month ago. I was came with my family, I  have one big brother, two small twins sisters, and my mom and dad.It was hard to leave my country and there is my house which is no one living now. I and y 3 friends played and grew up. With my friends I play soccer every day before. I miss them a lot. I want to school and with  my friends and I fight with other boys. I lived with my family together. We eat breakfast and dinner together.In America we randomly eat together.

Coming to America, I saw many things that I never saw before. Different people was in airplane visiting Russia. We stopped at Russia to change airplane.In my City there were not a lot of Russian people.I was so interesting what kind of City is New York. thought It was like movies but when I get out of plane It was not so different. It was boring couple days.I thought there was no one from my country but there I saw one boy from my country and I was surprised that there was person who was from my country.The Americans were different now they dress how they act. It was hard to me to talk to Americans or immigrants from another country like me.

         As days go by the people who talk English it was getting slower. Before when they talked it was to fast for me. In my school there is lot of people from Uzbekistan which is my country. It was not different to me to communicate with other students in school. They helped me alot in school to  settle whenever I had problems and could not talk to anybody my friends from my country translated to them. Friends are very helpful

       Now I know English better than before, I could explain them what I want to say. Now sometimes I can help somebody new and translate for them.Many people from other country have their own culture and they help each other. We help each other too. We call each other to our home and sit and talk to each other. We give something maybe food and they give us in return. Its in my country they did something. It’s the culture in Uzbekistan.
